Volunteer | Volunteers Wanted
The Brackenridge Park Conservancy works with the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department to hold a number of volunteer events each year, including Basura Bash participation in February, a Family Day in the spring, Easter recycling and clean-up, United Way Days of Caring programs, a National Public Lands Day event, and native tree and vegetation planting. All volunteer opportunities in Brackenridge Park will be announced on the Parks and Recreation website; opportunities in other parks are available as well. Please click here for more information.
Act | Make Your Voice Heard
The Brackenridge Park Conservancy is working closely with the San Antonio Zoo and other partners to help redevelop the derelict "Donkey Barn" into an education and visitor's center. Thanks to your support, San Antonio's City Council approved a lease amendment giving control of this structure and surrounding land to the Zoo on February 9, 2012.
